Mark, that's a fair statement. Woody Allen is a great film maker and a definitive New Yorker. The other film with a great opening scene was the original "Star Wars." When that Imperial cruiser comes over at the top of the screen, you knew that film making was going to change (for better or worse is probably a matter of taste).
